Which button did you sign in with?

AuthScope remembers whether you used Google, Apple, GitHub or another account on each site, and shows you the next time you're there.

Free. Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc and Firefox. Your list stays in your browser.

See it in action

Five things AuthScope does, from the toolbar to the dashboard.

AuthScope's popup on notion.so showing it was signed in with Google and Apple
On any site. The toolbar icon shows the provider you used, and the popup gives the details.
A 3D pie chart of sites per provider with Google selected and its sites listed
At a glance. A 3D chart of how many sites use each provider. Click a slice to list them.
The Check your accounts panel with app counts for Google, GitHub, Microsoft and others
From years ago. Check the apps linked to your Google, GitHub, Microsoft and other accounts in one click.
The site list filtered to GitHub, each app with its website
One list. Every app with its website and provider. Filter, search, or remove anything.
AuthScope's dashboard in dark mode beside its privacy points
Private. No account, no tracking, nothing sent anywhere.

How it works

  1. Install it

Add AuthScope to Chrome or Firefox. It opens its dashboard so you can get started.

  2. Check your accounts

Click Check all. AuthScope reads the apps linked to each account you're signed in to and adds them to your list, with their websites.

  3. Browse as usual

The toolbar icon shows which provider you used on each site. New sign-ins and sign-ups are added on their own.

Privacy

AuthScope keeps a list of which sites you used which sign-in provider for. That list never leaves your browser.

Last updated 30 October 2026.

What it stores
Site names and addresses, the provider you used for each (for example Google or GitHub), and when. They're kept in your browser's own extension storage.
What it doesn't store
Passwords, passkeys, email addresses, or your browsing history. It doesn't run any script on the sites you visit.
What it sends
Nothing. There are no servers, accounts, ads or analytics. To show provider icons, it loads each provider's small site icon from that provider's website. When you click Check, it opens your providers' own connected-apps pages, signed in as you, and reads the app names there.
Your control
Remove any site from the dashboard, export your list as a backup or spreadsheet, or delete everything at once. Uninstalling AuthScope deletes its data.

Free, and staying that way

If AuthScope saves you a "forgot which button" moment, you can support it on Ko-fi.
